Using KAUST Repository & More: Using your ORCID, Code Archiving and Citation , Research Data Archiving In-Person

In this session you'll discover:

KAUST Research Repository: (https://repository.kaust.edu.sa/), home to KAUST research outputs of all kinds. You will learn how to search the repository effectively, and how to keep up to date with information that is added to the repository. You will also see how to add your own research, how the repository connects to services such as ORCID, and how to see repository statistics and other information about how your research is being used.
ORCID: you will learn more about ORCID and introduce tools that can help you reuse the information from your ORCID record and track how your research is being used and shared.
Research Data & Software Archiving: Explore options for you to archive research datasets and software/code. Learn about:
- Recommended practices : we will introduce some options and provide examples of recommended practices for archiving research software and datasets.
- Licensing and citation: we will introduce some options and provide examples of recommended practices for licensing and citing software.
